Client wants to transition their current global network from an existing data center environment to a new datacenter environment located in Greensboro North Carolina by 2Q 2012. They currently have a dual carrier MPLS network (ATT & VzB), multiple disparate frame based networks, point to point networks, Internet services, mainframe networks which they use to support their bank partners on their Global Network Services, card services, business, travel, call center, and other back office networks. Client is looking for VzB to provide network integration and design consulting, network knowledge transfer, and migration recommendations as well network configuration activity on a variety of technologies including Optical, DWDM, MPLS, Advanced Route Map and Routing of OSPF, BGP, and open standard protocols. It is critical that the Data Center migration results in an efficient network, which is positioned for scalability, network and application growth and IPv6 transition. Routing is a key issue at Client, they have no route summarization, growing route tables and route maps. They need lots of help in this area. They realize that a single person may not have all the skills but expect that they 3 network people will collectively have the skills. Certifications provide some credibility but experience counts and speaks volumes. They will interview the candidates that we present The Senior Network Architects/Engineers will assist design/architect the OSPF and BGP solutions for the Data Center project on multi vendor environment. Knowledge of multi vendor environment is the key for proper OSP, BGP, Advanced route map solutions. The position will also help develop the global QoS over MPLS solutions to encompass domestic and international sites using COTS components. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS ARE: 1. Architect/Design LAN/WAN and date Center network for OSPF/BGP/Advanced Route Maps for Switches, Routers, and Physical environment. 2. Design the next generation Data Center network 3.
