*Looking for Midlevel profiles.*
*Role Purpose :*
Playing the key role in the development, maintenance and on-going support
of North American Well Analysis Tool (NAWAT) which has been developed using
Microsoft SQL*Server 2012 (procedures, functions and triggers), and
Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services.
This is a demanding role requiring a capable system developers who can:
Show an aptitude for database design and business analysis
Work closely with business staff to design and deliver high quality
applications, enhancements and support services
Demonstrate a proven track record in SQL Server software development using
advanced levels of T-SQL. Having achieved this within an organization such
as a Financial Institution would definitely be of benefit within this role
as attention to standards and code maintainability is essential
Ensure that standards are rigorously applied, and further developed where
appropriate
Comfortable working on their own and to aggressive timescales.
Support and assist colleagues by sharing knowledge and new ideas
*Must have:* SQL 2012, SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL
*Knowledge, Skills and Experience :*
- A formalized and structured education in software development, design
and implementation is essential for this role.
- Significant knowledge and current experience in the following database
system and technologies is critical to the success in the role:
- SQL*Server database management systems, using a minimum of SQL Server
2005, and T-SQL stored procedures, SSIS and SSRS.
- Knowledge and experience in any of the following technical areas is
not essential but would be beneficial:
- Microsoft Access (from 2003 onwards) user interface form design and
development .
- Microsoft VBA (MS-Access, Excel) .
- ORACLE databases, using a minimum of 9i, with knowledge and experience
of large scale database design, and PL/SQL programming (packages, triggers,
performance tuning, large volume ETL and presentation through views) .
- Business Intelligence .
- Content Management.
