*Business Analyst with Pharma*
*Location: San Diego, CA*
*Duration: 6-12 Months*
*Rate: $38/hr MAX*
*Need only local candidate. F2F interview is required.*
*Description*
The Temporary IT Applications Business Analyst works closely with IT
Business Partners to define and document key processes, requirements,
knowledge articles, and user documentation. The IT Business Analyst will
work both on projects, as a critical team member, and with operational
teams to identify communication and training to help ease the introduction
of new technologies, and to further improve operational processes.
*Primary Responsibilities:*
· Work with business to define and document key business processes
and requirements
· Define and document data mapping, data flow, data exchange, and
data storage requirements
· Define and document business intelligence requirements for
customers across various business functions
· Create training materials, “How Tos,” and knowledge items to ease
user adoption of new technology
· Create detailed user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts and
facilitate UAT with business partners
· Define, coordinate and/or execute system integration testing to
ensure solutions are built to requirements and specifications
· Facilitate resolution of Tier 2 and 3 application issues for
business partners
· Conduct source systems data quality analysis
*Education/Experience/Skills:*
BA/BS in Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and
applicable job experience. A minimum of 6 years progressively responsible
experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a focus on business
intelligence, commercial data, and reporting for product launch. Must
possess:
· Excellent attention to detail
· Excellent skills in defining and documenting processes,
requirements, training materials, and How Tos
· Solid understanding of different types of pharmaceutical data and
associated business processes
· Prior experience with business intelligence and reporting tools
· Solid understanding of data exchange, data cubes and associated
QC processes
· Understanding of computer systems validation processes
· Experience with launch of a *new pharmaceutical product*
