Please go through the following job description, if interested send me your updated profile to *ra...@palniinc.com <ra...@palniinc.com>* ASAP Demand Planner Functional with JDA Location : Oak Brook , IL Duration : 6+months Must have exp with JDA , Supply chain and SAS Job Description : • Possess general forecasting process understanding and demand analyst capabilities • Understand the structure of the Demand Planning organization • Are able to quickly grasp and understand the Customer’s Forecasting related business model and procedures and execute them to support the Customer’s planning requirements • Build and manage baseline forecast, and possess the acumen to make appropriate forecast adjustments based on business intelligence, such as promotions • Participate in S&OP meeting with Sales, Marketing and Supply members to align on one forecast number • Monitor, analyze, and report on key trends and performance metrics and provide recommendations for corrective action • Work proactively with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain management to avoid order shortages and excess inventory • Monitor business unit promotions, events, and market conditions to ensure accurate demand plans • Develop, monitor and communicate reports on forecast accuracy to Business Unit and Supply Chain organizations • Work closely with the supply team to proactively identify issues with upcoming changes.
