Must be local (or relocated) to Melville, NY. No travel expenses. 18 month assignment We are seeking 3 Mainframe/VSE Systems programmers to work at our client site in Melville, NY, supporting a 24/7 production environment. Individuals will have additional responsibility for mainframe and AS/400 operations. • Mainframe : Hardware: IBM 2096 Z02, O/S: z/VSE 4.2 and z/VSE 5.1 Software: CICS/TS for VSE V1.1.1, VSE/POWER, SyncSort, FAQS ASO & PCS, VTAM, TCPIP, CSI EPIC AS/400 Hardware: I Series 8205 Model E6B O/S: OS400 V7R1 Software: BPCS, JDE Catapult, Robot Schedule, Messenger Plus, Fastfax, Spool Explorer Tape handling is for Backup and restore purposes, number of tapes varies, 15 per day, 30 at month end. For the Mainframe tape handling is mostly during 3rd shift.
