Description:
The selected individuals will partner with Client’s
engineering/architecture team in designing, implementing, and supporting

The HEARTH Act codifies in law the Continuum of Care planning process and
certain  data collection requirements and requires HUD to ensure operation
of and consistent participation by recipients and sub-recipients of
programs authorized by Title IV of the McKinney- Vento Act in HMIS. The
purpose of HMIS is to record and store client-level information about the
numbers, characteristics and needs of persons who use homeless housing and
supportive services and about persons who receive assistance for persons at
risk of homelessness over time, to produce an unduplicated count of
homeless persons for each Continuum of Care; to understand the extent and
nature of homelessness locally, regionally and nationally; and to
understand patterns of service use and measure the effectiveness of
programs.



HUD envisions that by implementing an HMIS system within each Continuum of
Care, homeless individuals, agency directors and program managers, as well
as public policy makers will all benefit.  The OHSDW project intends to
leverage the core continuum-level systems to provide a richer, fuller
picture of the homeless population and the services they receive, better
enabling agencies to collaborate across continuum and jurisdictional
boundaries, and allowing public policy makers to address homelessness
issues on a statewide basis.



The Senior Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and
implementing application infrastructure to provide highly-complex,
reliable, and scalable applications and systems to meet the organization’s
objectives and requirements.  Senior Architects are familiar with a variety
of the application technologies, environments, concepts, methodologies,
practices, and procedures and rely on experience and judgment to plan and
accomplish goals. Senior Architects are able to perform a variety of
complicated tasks with minimal or no direct supervision. They have proven
experience defining systems and application architecture and provide

Hands-On ETL Architect acting as an ETL Senior Developer - Demonstrates
full understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Responsible for design and development of ETL and database business
applications.
Possesses detailed knowledge of software design and best practices.
Possesses knowledge of system and database management concepts.
Provides design recommendation based on long term IT organization strategy.
Provides expertise regarding the integration of applications across the

Assists in determining specifications for software solutions.

Demonstrates good understanding of Agile and RUP software development
methodologies.

Develops software and provides technical expertise for analysts,
developers, testers and technicians as needed to support Enterprise
Information Technology National Program projects such as the Licensee
Desk-Level Audit (LDLA) application, the Performance Tracking System (PTS)
sunset, the Inter-Plan Data Solutions (IPDS) common extract and the
Inter-Plan Performance Score Card.
Health insurance industry background in the area of Claim
Processing/Adjudication is preferred.   Experience with BCBS Plans, a big
plus!

Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer

Candidates must have 7+ years of experience with Informatica ETL tool, MS

*ETL Architect Job Responsibilities*

ETL Architect is accountable to;

Ø  Own, facilitate, integrate, and design the ETL applications.

Ø  Provide high level estimates and identify technical risk during the
initial stages of the project, in conjunction with the development of the
overall project plan

Ø  Participate in establishing the ETL component of the SBD (future state)

Ø  Collaborate on development of the STM to support ETL development
