Reports to Director of Technology. Essential Functions: . Upgrade Siebel eBusiness application (Siebel PRM Portal & PRM Manager) in development, test, & production environments . Troubleshoot and resolve stability and performance issues with applications . Execution of full end to end upgrade process which include running the upgrade scripts . Development of Siebel Tools, Siebel Workflow and general applet clean-up . Integration of Siebel EAI, Siebel Workflow, Siebel EIM, COM, Object Manager calls and web services . Responsible for data cleanup and consistency in Siebel database . Responsible for the application integration between the Siebel application and other J2EE Applications deployed. . Convert Reports from Actuate 6 to OBIEE . Developing OBIEE reports and dash boards is desirable It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management. Education and Experience Requirements: . Upgrade Experience in at least three projects with two Siebel 8 upgrades from start to finish. (Acting as the Lead Developer on at least one upgrade from Siebel 7.5.3 to Siebel 8.1 is extremely desirable)** ** . At least Six years experience with Siebel application upgrade and development, preferably Siebel PRM 7.5.3 experience . Extensive experience with version upgrade tasks like Database Upgrade, Repository Upgrade, Data Migration, and string imports . Experience with Siebel 8 deployment and development . Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field . Should have experience in each of these areas: EIM, Workflow, Scripting, EAI and business services . Must have a good knowledge of Siebel architecture and design and have experience with Siebel tools . Experience with Actuate 6 as the Siebel Report Solution . Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 and SQL database maintenance and SQL query languages . Must be a self-starter with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). . Strong trouble-shooting and problem solving capabilities . Proven experience with Siebel maintenance, architecture, configuration and data migration .
