*Position: Senior Network Engineer*

*Location: Quincy, MA*

*Start Date: 8/24*

*LOA: 12 month contract with strong potential for extension*



Need a Senior Network Engineer with *8-10+ years of experience*. Someone
who has been in a *team lead type position*. Someone who can assess the
environment and *make recommendations/design a solution*.




The Engineer will be responsible for supporting our client’s data center
configuration and deployment project/s. *The role will include installation
services, problem resolution, troubleshooting and diagnostics.*



*Responsibilities:*

Develop Router and Switch configurations for identified devices targeted
for configuration

Develop associated detail engineering documentation, Day of Plans, test and
Backup plans for scheduled migration events.

Perform the following tasks to prepare for deployment:

Identify and Classify all devices connected to the network

Provide engineering support for scheduled device configuration/turn-up
events



*Required skills:*

Cisco configuration and build out experience: Specifically* Cisco
4500/3750/6500’s*

Strong networking experience with *Nexus 7000/5000/2000s*

Solid datacenter migration and implementation experience

Technical engineering and post-migration support experience

Must understand change management protocols and process

Experience/Knowledge of Cisco IOS

Must have strong Dynamic Routing and Switching experience

Troubleshooting multivendor environments

*CCNP certification*



*Highly desired skills:*

Experience with Cisco Voice Gateways and Cisco Call Manager

Experience utilizing 802.1x Juniper Odyssey supplicant to endpoints, Wired
Dot1x (Cisco) and DHCP attributes

PKI Machine Certificates

Great Bay Beacon Appliances

CCIE certification



*NOTE:*  Need 2 professional references from recent project

hardware is on site and already being implemented, but the customer is
looking
for someone with the expertise to help their existing network staff with the
day to
day support/implementation needs for the F5 load balancers.
