* *Description: Sr Test Engineer – SGSN (IU over IP and 3G Pooling Project) Responsibilities The role will be focused on the Ericsson SGSN and IU over IP and 3G pooling and responsible for the following items: Detailed design for Iu over IP and 3G pooling with Ericsson SGSN 2009A SW and Ericsson and ALU RNCs. Initial test plan and test description documents Detailed test cases to fully validate the Iu over IP and 3G pooling configuration with Ericsson SGSN and ALU and Ericsson RNCs. Lab execution of test cases to validate the Iu over IP and 3G pooling functionality, including any IOT between vendor SW releases and HW platforms that are planned for NW integrations. Test progress reports outlining test progress Filing and tracking SW deficiencies encountered during testing phase Detailed step by step implementation guide to properly configure the Iu over IP and pooling configuration. Support of any troubleshooting required to support third party elements (example: Femto gateway) or applications (example: Video Share) as a result of the migration to IuPS over IP and 3G pooling Preparation of Lab Engineering Plan documents to support lab build-out required to complete the validation. This will include engineering for build of new nodes, node re-homes, transport architecture changes, etc… Execution and support of First Field Applications of Iu-PS over IP and 3G Pooling Upon completion of lab validation, a full detailed test report will be produced.
