Candidate should have hard code hands on experience including onsite
offshore model coordination/delivery. Production Support experience is an
added advantage.
· Responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting Web or
Java applications
· Gathers and analyzes requirements
· Programs all or selected components of Web or Java applications.
Documents components and applications
· Researches, evaluates and recommends new tools and applications
for use in assigned responsibilities
· Demonstrates rapid ability to seek, evaluate, and come up to
speed on new technologies and processes
· Independently writes and reviews design specifications, code, and
unit tests
· Troubleshoots and resolves medium to high complexity application
defects
Core Skills: (4 plus years’ experience)
SOLID in Java 5 programming
SOLID in spring framework (MVC, IOC, JDBC, etc)
Experience in developing web services and consuming web services (CXF)
Strong experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
Knowledge/understanding of* iLog, Jrules*
Candidate will work on all layers of the application development
(presentation, application, persistence, etc)
Experience working in an agile environment is a plus
*Front end Skills:*
* SOLID in Creating JSP pages, write JavaScript, use style sheets *
*Back end Skills:*
writing *SQL *to Create, Read, Update and Delete information from SQL
server database/tables
Ability to write in-line *SQ*L statements from Java programs using *JDBC*
template.
Knowledge of creating/reading/updating stored procedures, etc
Knowledge building and deploying code on Web sphere infrastructure,
Define variable and properties for the application
Trouble shoot application issues,
Review Web sphere logs
