*Job Description:*

*Must have skills:*

· Java/J2EE for senior, “heads-down” development capabilities for
complex dev.

· 5-8 years of experience developing enterprise-level Java-based
applications.



*Job Roles/Responsibilities:*

· Full SDLC projects of customized software solutions for clients
using industry-leading data analytics tools.

· Work in Agile environment, using XSL, XSLT, Spring, Hibernate,
and a complex Oracle back end

· Mentoring junior members of the team

· Assist in design  requirements decisions

· Design, code, test and debug complex software while developing
new functionality, and enhancing existing functionality, in order to
satisfy customer requirements, both internal and external.

· Consult with product owners/business partners to define
requirements and software design.

· Evaluate feasibility and make recommendations, considering things
such as customer requirements, time limitations, and system limitations.

· Explore and research new and alternate technologies and
platforms, and evaluate, recommend, and apply these alternate/new
technologies, disseminating information throughout the team/department.
This includes documenting large and complex assignments for knowledge
transfer and developing expertise in multiple areas.

· Provide technical guidance on a wide range of systems/projects

· Active participation in collaborative environment, encouraging
participation from others

· Business acumen to determine feasibility of customer requests

· Translation of business needs into technical requirements



*Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills*

· 5 to 8 years’ experience in full SDLC environments using Java
technology stack as well as XSL, XSLT, Hibernate, WebLogic, Oracle, and
PL/SQL

· Strong understanding of Web Services, XSL, SOAP, and HTTP

· Experience in Agile environment

· Experience in handling/managing production systems

*Location: Irving, Texas*

*Durations: 6+ Months*



*Job Description:*

Play a key role in developing applications written in JavaScript and
Java/J2EE related technologies.

Work in a team to design, develop, test and maintain the Telemetric
Software platform and its corresponding APIs.



• Analyze, design, and implement software solutions of varying complexity,
   including server-side, middleware, and user interface aspects.

• Work in an Agile S/W development environment with frequently changing
 requirements

• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members

• Provide well-written design documents from requirements documents (even
   loosely specified requirements)

• Support existing software including development of enhancements, defect
 resolution, determining and resolving performance issues,
debugging,  upgrading, deployment and migration.

• Participate in, coordinate, or conduct Software Engineering activities to
mature  the Telemetric software infrastructure including architecture,
design,methodologies, best practices, standards, etc.

• Performs all other duties as assigned.



*Top Three Skills:  *

1. Java/J2EE - exp. working with JDK 1.5 or higher as well

2. End to End experience - must have strong working experience working
withinAPI layer

3. JavaScript - Angular, knockout, backbone, node, ext js (preferable)

4. Web Services - creating and consuming (SOAP, REST, JAXWS, JAXRS)

5.Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols a huge plus

6. Any Big Data experience is huge plus - Mongo/Hadoop/Cassandra/Hive
