Hello, We Gain America, Inc. one of the fastest growing IT Consulting Company in US. We have an urgent requirement with our client/Preferred Vendor. The job details are given below. Job Title: SQL DBA Location: Boca Raton Florida Length: 3+ months Must Haves: .SQL Server and Oracle .3+yrs MS SQL Server administering, support, maintain and ability to design SQL server databases, Performance Tuning, Security, Backup and Recovery processes in a large corporation. .3+years of experience with SQL and T-SQL. .2+ years of Crystal Report development experience .Strong understanding of RDBMS, SQL Server Architecture, Optimization, System Object, Log Shipping, Replication, and DTS packages. Other Requirements: . The position requires effective analytical thinking, careful attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to systems management. . Able to multitask, and excellent communication skills (oral and written) . Should have good organizational skills. The primary responsibilities include but not limited to administration and maintenance of SQL Servers and Oracle DB's, development of stored procedures and Crystal reports. SQL Server DBA is needed requiring 4+ years of MS SQL Server / Oracle experience. 2+ years experience with Crystal Report Development. Require to have clear understanding of MS SQL Server / Oracle relational database engines. Candidate must possess excellent communication and documentation skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following. .Install, configuration, upgrade, apply service pack, administer and maintenance of SQL Server / Oracle development, stage and production environments. .Develop and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company databases. .Implement data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; .Able to write complex SQL script including functions, views and stored procedures. .Able to resolve database performance, database capacity, ensure data recovery, maintenance, data integrity, space requirements and other distributed data issues. .Report writing using Crystal reports. .Reorganize database structures as needed, automate procedures at regular intervals, use tools to reorganize or de-fragment database table spaces, tables, and indexes. .Disaster Recovery Plan and Fail-over strategy planning (Log shipping, replication, etc). .Demonstrated ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues for root cause.
