Postal Service to issue postage stamps bearing images of orchids to correlate with WOC-19 in 2008? ***************** Our experience down here is about 3 to 4 years, but ... the sooner the better. We have had a few orchid stamps trickle through, the last set being in conjunction with the Asia Pacific Orchid Conference held in Townsville in 1998. However, those involved came up with a novel approach. Singapore issued a similar set of stamps at the very same time for the conference. There were four stamps featuring two orchids from each country.
