Is there an online link for this article? Try: http://www.cell.com/current# where you can see the cover, together with brief descriptive text. There's also a link to a summary of the article. Hope this helps, Richard K (Piracicaba, SP, Brazil)
[Origami] Quasi Origami
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxVcK_n_u9c This is a video of an art installation done by student at Virginia Tech (my alma mater - saw it in a newsletter). Quasi - origami - looks like the papers were decorated and folded, then strung together and hung on bamboo frames. Then there was computer lighting and sound. Done at the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC. Dee
[Origami] Robert Lang origami fedora help
Dear users, I am contacting you all to ask you if you can give me help on Robert Lang's origami fedora. I have tried many times using the crease pattern on Robert Lang's website, but it has only ended in a crumpled peice of paper. So, I ask all of you if there is anything to help me, ie measurement tips, folding tips, anything to help a humble origami folder like me. Thanks for your help!!!

And fussing with each set of creases: does the right side fit better under the left, or vice-verse, as you collapse each of the 8 sets of creases. Not to mention, until it is complete, you may have to go back and refold things as you work around. My first couple were great cat toys. ;-) My friends marvel at my great models. They never see that the cat mafia "handles" my first attempts and not so good later attempts. ;-) Cats are great companions for Origami folders.
