[Origami] penatagonal paper?

2013-09-24 Thread John Szinger

Hi List,

I'm looking to buy some pentagonal paper. Anyone know where I can get some? I
saw some for sale back in June at the OUSA convention, but I don't see it for
sale at The Source on the web site. When I google it, I get lots of hits about
the Pentagon Papers from the Johnson administration.

Thanks,
John

[Origami] Searching for a book model

2013-09-24 Thread Malachi Brown
I seem to recall reading about a simple book model derived from a masu box,
but I don't recall where I saw it mentioned or where diagrams might be
found.

Could anyone here give me additional information about this model? I have
arrived at a folding solution but I am interested in more information.

Thanks,
Malachi

[Origami] Folding a pentagon

2013-09-24 Thread Jake Schenthal
Hi all,

I'm wondering how do you fold a pentagon? I'm not referring to cutting a
pentagon from a square, but folding a smaller pentagon on a square. Thanks!

Something like what you described is called "note book" by Martin Wall in the
book
"Origami 30 fold by fold projects" by Paulo Mulatinho.
