[Origami] origami exhibition

2014-04-02 Thread Thomas
An exhibition of origami tesselations with photography paper which was then
exposed and developed in Manchester CT..
Here is the Hartford Courant article:
http://www.ctnow.com/arts-theater/museums/hc-photosynthesis-origami-0321-20140320,0,7322682.story

Here is the website for the gallery:
www.photosynthesisct.com

Note 1 They seem to be random tesselations, not ones I have seen before, but I
don't do tesselations so I can't vouch for that.

Note 2 For those in New England The exhibition goes untill April 10th. although
it doesn't say that on the website for some reason.

In all I thought the approach was creative and interesting. Tom Sullivan

For those who aren't aware, this is the culmination of a successful
origami-related Kickstarter project to fund a collaboration between
Christine Dalenta and Benjamin Parker.

I met Ben a few years ago at CenterFold and he has designed many
interesting tessellations. (I would link to some additional photos, but I
fear the spam filter.) It is nice to see him pushing the envelope and
trying novel things.
