In all honesty, those names that appear in my database for the different
variation of the rose are all of my own concoction, to make it easier to
differentiate between the designs. As far as I can tell, Mr. Kawasaki calls
his design just "Rose". But it became such an iconic design that it will
forever be associated with his name.

If anybody has a better taxonomy system to the rose derivatives, I'll be
very happy to consider it.

We already have, for instance, Molly Kahn's Hexahedron, Paul Jackson's Cube,
Neale's Octahedron, Joisel's Rat and many more ... but I agree that it is
pretty random.

I do however think this is a really good practice. Attaching a designer's
name to their designs helps us remember 'who did what' and hopefully helps
to preserve their legacy.
