[Origami] Napkin Folding
I'm interested in trying my hand at some Renaissance-style napkin folding, and I had a couple questions before I go linen shopping. 1) What size napkins were used for folding (especially in the 16th and early 17th centuries, in Italy or Germany)? 2) How were the edges of the napkins finished: plain hem, rolled hem, something else? If anyone has any thoughts on either of these, please share. I don't believe Joan Sallas is on this list, but if anyone is in contact with him and feels like passing the question along I'd appreciate that as well. Thanks, Mike Case
