[Origami] Help identifying a model

2020-12-29 Thread Jane Rosemarin
Hi, All,

A few years, I taught a model at an Origami Minnesota meeting. I know I own the
diagrams, but I can’t find them. I don’t remember the designer or the name of
the model. You can see a photo of it on my Instagram page. It’s the second
photo in this post, the two-piece modular made of kraft paper:

Please let me know if you have any clues!

Happy New Year!
Jane

Re: [Origami] How to avoid the transparency film from getting scratches?

2020-12-29 Thread Gerardo @neorigami.com
On Sunday I asked for ideas to protect my sheets of transparency film from
getting scratches. Miranda replied and mentioned the tissue paper sheets
that go between each sheet of transparency film when you buy a box. I also
received a private message of someone who suggested glassine envelopes,
which have been used to protect negatives.

I have a couple of questions. I hope at least one of you can help me out
with them:

*1.* If I keep each clipping of transparency film in a *common copy paper*
sleeve, will that avoid the scratches?

*2.* Do I need instead a special kind of paper for the sleeves?

*3.* Is the paper between each sheet of transparency film, in the box,*
tissue paper* (the same used for tissue foil)? Is it *tracing paper*? Is it
glassine? Is it something else?

I know very little about the subject, but I so want to keep my transparency
film properly. As I have mentioned before, you can send me a private
message if you don't want to answer through the list: gerardo(a)

Thank you in advance* : )*
