[Origami] Origami Canada registration
Due to meeting the requirements of our hotel catering, registration for OrigamiCanada (http://origamicanada.com) will close on Friday, September 28. We have an awesome group of folders coming to town!
[Origami] Origami Canada convention diagram book
We have been asked if the Origami Canada convention diagram book is for sale and why it isn't available to everybody. No the book is not for sale. It was printed for the express use of Origami Canada attendees. The convention book is © Origami Canada. Like all other printed diagrams, they are protected by copyright and not authorized for public distribution. People are not entitled to something just because it is printed. Folders paid hard-earned money to attend our convention. The diagram book is a little compensation for their investment as well as the contributing artists' generosity for our efforts. No doubt it will be copied. But on every page, one can read: Permission is granted for duplication of these diagrams for personal use of Origami Canada participants and for teaching purposes. The model may not be used commercially (sold, displayed, photographed or taught) without the express consent of the designer. This publication is © Origami Canada and is for the express purpose of Origami Canada participants. If someone wants a diagram of a particular model, they can simply Google it to see if one if available or contact the creator and ask (not presume) about availability. The OUSA digital purchase plan is terrific. Jamie
[Origami] Zanders elephant hide
The Zanders website no longer lists elephant hide as a product. I know they stopped producing all colours except grayscale neutrals a few years ago. Have they stopped making elephant hide completely? Is there another company that is manufacturing it? Jamie havewebwilltravel.com heartsteps.org artfinder.com/origami
[Origami] Origami Virtual Knitting Club
Hi folks: Assia Brill and I have started an online origami knitting club that meets on Skype once a month. Assia is an extremely accomplished knitter, having knit for 50-years. My knitting career is about 11-months. We have had a hoot so far but would enjoy some more participants. PM me if interested. All levels welcome. Re: [Origami] Origami Digest, Vol 132, Issue 4
Hi Seth: I fall on my sword for losing Eric’s site. My fatal error in trying to transfer it to Eric’s brother. And I no longer had a backup - inexcusable - and the server had just cleaned out its backups. So the redundancy failed. I think Alain Joisel’s son maybe rebuilding it, which the website sorely needed because it was 6-years old and I no longer had the software to maintain it so the scripts were dysfunctional. My bad. And I am really, truly mortified… Jamie heartsteps.org yvrparis.com On Wed, Apr 5, 2017 at 9:00 AM, wrote: > Send Origami mailing list submissions to > origami@lists.digitalorigami.com > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > https://lists.digitalorigami.com/mailman/listinfo/origami > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > origami-requ...@lists.digitalorigami.com > > You can reach the person managing the list at > origami-ow...@lists.digitalorigami.com > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of Origami digest..." > > > Today's Topics: > >1.
