Re: [Origami] Origami Modulars for Everyone - my new book is out!

Hi Ilan,

I hope all is well with you. You definitely have kept yourself busy, and we
can enjoy the fruits of your labor. Thank you!

I was wondering if you are interested in me making a tutorial for one of
the models in your new book on modulars to promote it. And if so: die you
have a preference which one it could be?

I ordered the book today, now that Christmas is over. For obvious reasons,
I'm careful not to buy new books just before Christmas. ;)

All the best and happy folding - and publishing even more books,

[Origami] Origami Modulars for Everyone - my new book is out!

2020-11-17 Thread Ilan Garibi
Dear Origami friends,

I am happy and proud to say my new book is out.
>From the last ten years, I collected 41 modular models, and succeeded to
convince the best diagrammer I know, Dasa Severova, to make the diagrams.
So many thanks for that!!
18 months of hard work are finally behind us, and the book is available now
on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Origami-Modulars-Everyone-Original-Designs/dp/B08NF36FFS/

The book is divided into four chapters: Flat Radials, Non-Flat Radials,
Six-Unit Polyhedra, and Other Polyhedra.
As promised by the title, the book provides a lovely variety of models on a
wide scale of difficulty levels, and the diagrams are so clear and vivid,
everyone can enjoy it!

The book conveys my (unique) way of thinking, with models like Inside-Out
Tetrahedron (who would think you can turn a tetrahedron inside out?) and a
cube that turns into a tetrahedron.
Some are action models, like the Magic Flower, and some are just georges,
if I may say so...
Most are my original designs, and some are the result of the cooperation
with Dasa, and the help of friends.

The book was edited by Sherry Gerstein, and Elina Gor is the graphic
designer, the same team from my first book, and they did a wonderful job!

So, if you wondered what could be the present you buy yourself for
christmas, this may be it. Go ahead and check it!
For now, the *Look Inside *feature on Amazon is still not available. You
can find it on my Instagram account: @garibiilan
