I want to say the product was called Envirotex Lite. It was a 2 part resin to 
which he added something like paint thinner so it would not harden too quickly.

Matthew Green asked for the product used by Mark Kennedy to coat his folds
in order to turn them into pins and magnets.

Hi Matt. He used polyester resin. One of the brands he used was
Envirotex-lite. Might you have issues of The Paper from the 90's? Mark
published a couple of articles explaining his process in detail back then.

I have a few, gifted by Mark to my daughters. I’m pretty sure it’s just a 
resin. Epoxy or polyester would work. Take care with material handling, gloves, 
masks and ventilation, as most resins have toxicity. 

The specific brand of resin, I’m not sure, but having done some resin work 
myself, most  work the same, they soak into the paper and make it hard, and are 
robust.
