I am sure you are aware that you can contribute without owning the
product, much like how Novell contributed to OO.o, GNOME, KDE, Kernel
etc etc without owning/leading any one of the projects right?

So while Oracle is mostly known to be a proprietary company, they do
have a dedicated FOSS/Linux team and have contributed codes to many
projects. Yes, Unbreakable Linux is just CentOS with Yast but then
that is the freedom granted by FOSS. So as long they put a feasible
business model and wrap SLA around it, they we can even repackage
Debian and call it what ever they want. Ubuntu did the same! And
nobody seems to be screaming bloody revenge

I am no Oracle fanboy and much less of Larry Ellison but due credit
must be given, regardless of the company's reputation.

I am not too worried about what will happen to MySQL, OO.o or Java.
MySQL's codes are in the Net (and now there is MariaDB); if you use
any of the paid-for Enterprise distros, it will be supported for 5-7
years; OO.o you can go LibreOffice, StarOffice or Symphony. Java? Well
there is OpenJDK.

There you go... build from that anger build something great build and innovate 
for something that the nation can be proud off. I'm sorry but sometimes we have 
to deal with thing in a very weird way so that we could and I quote again 
"COULD" get it moving. For those who know me I have walked with you I have 
share the pain and the anger and I have too share tears with some of you I have 
be watching and observing many of you but it doesn't goes anywhere yet. With 
all that ranting I belived there is much Passion within each and everyone of 
you and I have still much respect for many of you all and I hope 1 day soon the 
ACTUAL spirit of OSS with emerge within our own ecosystems and prove to the 
world that we still HAVE IT! what it takes to be the world leader.

Who gains most?!
For the sake of patriotism (and for the sake of argument), who is now more

more kowtow to them!
Wake up, time to stand on our own, look now where we are standing at!!!
