I like the Boboli one, but both of your proposals sound good to me.
I could share both proposals to the entire local committee and tell

we collected some images of old maps of Italy and Firenze (14971.jpg,
11794.jpg, 11489.jpg, 10609.jpg)  here [0]

I really like 14971.jpg, it's the map of Boboli gardens [1], but
probably the size is not the best...
