Re: [OSGeoLive] Quickstart doc progress
Hello Cameron, thanks for the mail and the initiative to go for 13.1 release after all the work from Felicity. I will check the PostGIS Quckstart and do the changes. I will try to finish it till 25th January. Could we get some help, from ~ 31 Jan (next week). * We will also be ready for a press release within a couple of weeks. Re: [OSGeoLive] Quickstart doc progress
Vicky, Nicolas, I'm hoping you will be able to provide feedback to Luca's question about translations. And while on translations, I'm wondering whether we should invite translations for the 13.1 quickstart doc release. Do you think there is desire and bandwidth in the translation community to take on the translations? Or should we stick with just an English patch (and let the translations happen with our next 14.0 main release)? Re: [OSGeoLive] Quickstart doc progress
Hi Cameron, There is a motion at https://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/osgeolive/2019-December/014526.html to set up a new repo for the archived docs. There are 3 +1s so not sure if this is enough to pass? There was also a discussion on setting up another repo to store the latest output of the docs to publish/host automatically, although I think this could be done by publishing a branch from the archive repo.
