I've been threatening to step back from OSGeoLive for a while now,
and I think that this year's release will be my last.
I wish to focus my open source energy on creating open source doc
templates and associated processes around it, under the banner of
https://thegooddocsproject.dev/ [14]
I will provide a light touch review to docs for any new projects
added to OSGeoLive, but plan to do very little beyond that. I'm not
expecting to be a regular at our weekly meetings.
It is sad for me to step back, but I have something else I feel
needs more of my attention and I need to step back from OSGeoLive in
order to make space.

Re: [OSGeoLive] when do we start working on OSGeoLive 14?

2020-05-01 Thread Angelos Tzotsos

Hi Astrid,

Lubuntu has been released as well, I have already upgraded one of the
build servers to start testing.

I agree that we should start the release circle for 14.0.

Lets meet on Tuesday and plan ahead.

Best,
Angelos

Lubuntu 20.4 is not there yet.

So I am curious when we will start the release circle.

We could make a meeting and work on the schedule.

and make a plan.

FOSS4G will not take place in 2020. But it still would be great to
have a COVID-19 Edition in summer. Maybe we could provide some special
COVID-19 relate data and examples?

What do you think about meeting next tuesday on irc?

Hello OSGeoLive team,

and make a plan.
