Re: Search has changed

2016-12-01 Thread Franco Bez
This hint comes a little too late for myself-
It took me about a quarter of an hour to find this hidden feature by myself
a few days ago. ;-)
Is there any deeper reason why the "old" address search got kicked out ?

With the new search it was impossible for me finding a simple address in
Munich - always there was this rotating ring symblizing the good old
"sandclock". and nothing was found.
Simply picking an address from an index is one of the most basic features
that any navigation tool just MUST have.

Are the any plans to put it back on a more prominent place?

Ciao,
  Franco

Re: Convert OBF to OSM or Shapefile

2016-12-01 Thread 'Stephan75' via Osmand
when browsing to https://www.github.com you have a search text field there
where you can search for "obf2osm"

... as a result you get three issues inside osmand project where the is
"obf2osm mentioned ...

but I don't know whether that is the feature you are looking for?
