Re: All Maps deleted after Osmand update from Playstore

2016-11-25 Thread Stephan Marx
Yes, I am .. the device space gets freed up by the amount the vector maps
usually consume, the folde is the one I posted above, and the vector files
are in the top level of this folder, when I re-download them, while street
only maps, wiki, etc. are in their own subfolders and no affected.

All Maps deleted after Osmand update from Playstore

2016-11-16 Thread Stephan Marx
Hi,

after the last 2 Updates released from the Playstore, I was facing the
welcome dialogue and all maps (including World) have been deleted, while
other data like favorites, hillshades, Wiki and Roads only maps where still
there.

Anyone else recognized this issue? How can I prevent this?

It's more than annoying .. esp. if you think that you start Osmand the 1st
time after the update in a place with no connectivity and you need
Navigation.

Thanks in advance
Stephan

not set“ where ever I tap on the map.

Someone else with the same issue or a clue how to solve this problem?

Re: Speed Cameras

2016-08-24 Thread Stephan Marx
@Peter, Stephan75 you're both right .. as a POI you can make them visible
.. but they are not configurable as a map element like Buildings or
housenumbers, etc.

Re: Speed Cameras

2016-08-23 Thread Stephan Marx
Hi,

maybe a misunderstanding here? You wont "see" them in the Osmand Map ...
but if they are "properly" documented in OSM, then Osmand will warn you,
once you're coming close.

Works here ..

Re: Import of (favorites).gpx fails

2016-08-22 Thread Stephan Marx
Ok, in between I found a way to do the import by opening the favourites.gpx
from an gmail attachment.
It works .. but that is not very intuitive ...

Are there no plans to have a proper im and export function for favourites
and maybe also settings?
Or have I missed that there is an easier way to move your Osmand personal
data from one mobile to another?

Import of (favorites).gpx fails

2016-08-21 Thread Stephan Marx
Hi,

I have replaced 2 of my mobiles (both with Android 6.x and Osmand 2.4.3).
Now my previous method to importthe favorites.gpx does not work any longer:
- open the gpx via file manager with osmand
- confirm the following osmand dialog with 'import' (not save)

This method was working before. Now osmand crashes.

Anyone with a clue how to fix or a better way to get the old favourites gpx
file back in place?
(no - copy would not work, as my phone is not rooted and I cannot access
/data/data)
