Re: [otb-users] DEM file in training for classification

2018-01-25 Thread Guillaume Pasero

Hi,
In fact the DEM is not always used. It can be used if your input
image and training vectors are not in the same projection. For
instance, if you use a sensor image and training vectors projected
in WGS84, the application will have to convert the polygon
coordinates from WGS84 to your sensor frame, hence the need of a
  DEM.

Guillaume

  Dear all,
Since while I'm wondering why DEM is needed in training for
  classification procedures. I hope I
read the OTB documentation, but no reason was stated. Even
the link set for the geoid file
is broken. Any idea why this is happening?

Regards.

[otb-users] Re: Problem with otbcli_ExtractROI -mode.fit.vect

2018-01-25 Thread remicres
Hi César,

There is a bug with mode.fit.vect. This will be corrected very soon, but
right now you can use this workaround:
-Use otbcli_Rasterization to generate a temporary image
-Use ExtractROI to extract using mode.fit.im over the temporary image
