Hi, http://www.i-doit.de/ would be fine (unconformationally, german-only
website), but:

About 2 years ago, version 0.9 preview was released.
In our days, 0.9 betaxyz was released.

I'm also very interested in asset- or better configuration-mgmt-tools.

http://www.BPMspace.com/ was launched as OSS a view weeks ago. It is a
process-driven-ITSM-tool which includes or will include a CMDB (?).

Thanks,

We have it running for only a few agents (5-6) on a P4 2.0Ghz FreeBSD

queries returning in well under ½ second.

We’re not running with mod_perl due to a configuration problem that
makes OTRS crash if I try to run it that way so that’s to blame for some
of the problem I’m sure. But as I said I’ve actually written a variety
of perl/php scripts that query the database and they pop right up as
soon as I click on them.

Thoughts?

You mentioned exactly the right assumption.
In my opinion, your CGI-OTRS could be faster for a maximum of about
30-50% if hard optimizations are done in several places.
But you really gain more performance if you turn over to mod_perl -
that's just a single optimization. You should to try to achieve this
once again!

Consider that OTRS in our days has so many configuration options (still
increasing) which must all be read on every page-request if you don't
use mod_perl.

On my machine I run
* MySQL
* OTRS with mod_perl
* OTRS-test-installation with cgi

The cgi-OTRS is at least 1x slower than the mod_perl-OTRS.

RE: [otrs] queueview - show only open|new tickets

2006-10-11 Thread Benjamin Burton
We've gotten around this problem by pushing tickets into a subqueue.
Make sure you're not "watching" that particular subqueue, and then
unlock the pending ticket. The ticket will go back into the QueueView,
but you will not see it because you're not watching that queue.

[otrs] Problem with FAQs - public entries not visible in customer view.

2006-10-11 Thread Chris
Hi,

I have recently installed otrs 2.1.1 and used the package manager to
install the FAQ package, v1.0.6. I have added a new category and several
articles via the agent interface, ensuring that all the articles are set up so
that ther state is set to public. This is confirmed in the 'state' column in
the agent view. However, when I view the faq via the customer interface, the
category is visible but no entries are listed and the article count is 0.

I've checked the orts bugzila system and poked google for a bit to no
avail - have I missed some obvious setting somewhere?

ZZZAuto.pm.

Where did you read this? I have ZZZAAuto.pm and ZZZAuto.pm in that
directory and my system is working fine now.

I still have the FAQ button in my toolbar when I login, but clicking
it gives me:

I didn't have that file after the rpm upgrade and I never deleted it
myself. I got rid of the error message above by re-installing the FAQ
