The Senior Systems Engineer in the Windows Platform Engineering Group is

which meet architecture standards

Qualification:
BA, BS or AA or equivalent work experience

The Quality Assurance Engineer will be involved in creating and executing
complex test plans and working interactively with Product Development and

This design engineer’s role is to design SAN and NAS storage solutions based
on Business requirements for capacity, performance, replication(DR), and
backup.  This infrastructure and standards used in the solution require a
knowledge of  EMC, Network Appliance, and IBM TSM, and CISCO FC switches.



*Responsibilities*



· Work with stakeholders of customer drive projects to determine
overall storage requirements for both primary storage and data protection.

· Provide the storage implementation group with a detailed design
describing primary storage needs and backup data storage retention needs of
each project which adhere storage best practices.

· Work closely with Primary Storage and Data Protection Architects
on documenting and testing new storage technologies.  As well as working
with these individuals to resolve exceptions to existing standards as they
arise.

· Provide authoritative knowledge on ThomsonReuters Markets storage
standards and advise and counsel project teams on the relative importance of

*Position Requirements*



· Excellent knowledge of SAN, NAS, DAS, RAID, SCSI, and Fibre
Channel technologies in an EMC/Netapp and Veritas environment. This includes
SRDF, Timefinder, ECC, Workload Analyizer, Optimizer, etc, as well as other
SANS/NAS tools.

· In-depth understanding of storage architecture design techniques,
theories, principles, and practices.

· Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and provide
regular status.

· Solid experience with developing backup and restore procedures
with tape/disk drive technologies, either Netbackup or TSM prefered.

· Working technical experience with designing, building, installing,
configuring, and supporting storage servers and software.

· Experience working with Veritas Clustering and Volume Manager as

Our current release of the PeopleSoft Finance application is FSCM 9.0 with
PeopleTools 8.49 on an Oracle database.  The primary role I'm looking to
fill is for support to resolve open Production defects (some of which will
require development of code and Project lifecycle), other Production support
and operational support, and potentially some other random ad-hoc requests.
 FSCM Modules that they should be particularly skilled at include the
following:

AP - payment processing (includes ePro and the full Req-to-Pay lifecycle)
Treasury - Financial Gateway transactions, Cash management, Deal management,
bank file processing (both outbound and inbound Acknowledgments)
GL - Journal processing and posting (including Translations, Summary builds,
and Statistical account processing)

They should also be solid in the PeopleTools 8.49 technology, specifically
Integration Broker messaging and the Service-Oriented approach.

*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:*

experiences in a variety of programming and scripting languages such as
Visual Basic and COM/COM+/MTS, .Net (ASP/VB), JavaScript, CSS, HTML and

Dallas organization is currently seeking a Sr MicroStrategy Developer with a
strong background in MicroStrategy (MSTR). The candidate will be responsible
for all aspects of rapidly and efficiently developing BI reporting solutions
and dashboards from scratch as well as aiding in the conversion of older
technologies to MicroStrategy.

Responsibilities
-   Will be developing stand alone and drill through reporting
functionality from scratch as well as converting from existing reporting
functionality
-   Will be developing and employing all the widget and graphing
functionality available within the MicroStrategy tool
-   Will be developing functionality to schedule delivery of the reports
via email, reporting portal as well as handheld devices
-   Will be assisting in the scheduling of report delivery
-   Will be assisting in the setup of ETL dependencies within
MicroStrategy to ensure reports are using/showing recent data
-   Will be developing cutting edge graphing functionality like
employing slider bars for trending as well as pie, bar, line, scatter and
thermal-type graphs
-   Will be assisting with the maintenance of the security access at all
levels of the MicroStrategy tool
-   Will be writing SQL queries to test results of relationships,
developing reports based on that SQL and then comparing the content of the
reports to the raw data
-   Will be developing reporting solutions based on existing SQL
provided to them – some reports may be built with little input as to final
design so experience in developing solutions from limited specifications
will be a major component of the developer’s responsibilities

Required Skills
-   Minimum 5 years of extensive experience in designing and developing
graphic and drill down/through MicroStrategy reporting functionality for a
Data Warehouse environment
-   Must have heavy graphing experience employing all/most of the
MicroStrategy widgets/tools
-   Must have experience developing MicroStrategy reporting solutions in
a Data Warehouse environment – must understand principles of developing
reporting solutions using STAR schemas as well as unconventional/ODS schemas
-   Must have experience with all the scheduling aspect of the
MicroStrategy tool
-   Must have experience working with the security setup and maintenance
at all levels within the MicroStrategy tool
-   Must have strong SQL skills (Oracle 10g) and be able to construct
and deconstruct complex SQL queries
-   Must have experience in full life cycle development – from analysis
of reporting needs with users, designing potential solutions, coding all
aspects of reports including graphs, drill down/through and implementing
final product into production
-   Must have experience documenting reporting solutions – new and
existing
-   Experience with MicroStrategy Version 9.0 is a must.
-   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Desired Skills
-   Have knowledge of architectural frameworks and data warehouse
methodologies
-   Have experience in designing STAR schemas
-   Have experience/knowledge on MicroStrategy Architecture
-   Have experience/knowledge on maintaining a reporting metadata layer
-   Have experience in setting up security for enterprise-wide
environment from within MicroStrategy
-   Have solution architecture experience including hands-on design of
analytical layer and Micrtrategy Schema**
