Position: QA Opportunity
Location: Cupertino, CA
Duration: 6 months
Rate: $23-24/hr on W2 and C2C Rate is 27/hr
I just came across another QA opportunity here in Cupertino, CA. The rate is
what it is and I know it's not the highest out there, but please see if you can
drum up anything. They need someone who has experience doing compatibility
testing on Mac operating system.
Interviews are tomorrow at 3 or 4pm meaning I need local candidates
Here is the job description:
This is a QA position with the Printers and Devices Group. The job entails
blackbox testing of printers and devices that will run on the upcoming release
of the operating system. The vendors who are able to sell their printers in
Apple retail environments are given the updates that will be in the new
operating system. This position will require a QA person to come in and test
all of the vendor's printers on this new operating system for performance. The
results of the testing will determine if the vendor will get a "passing grade"
and continue with the ability to sell in the Apple Store.
Requirements:
-5+ years QA experience (writing test cases, creating test cases, logging bugs)
-Black box testing third party machines on the Mac OS
-Some familiarity with connectivity of devices to Mac Hardware
-Ability to juggle multiple tasks and jump in with other needs in the group
when required ie. logging and tracking of various devices
