McAfee Product Specialist for state of OH *Client: State of OH * *McAfee Product Specialist SME* *Duration: 4 Months + Possible Extension through June 30, 2016* *Interview: In Person – NO SKYPE* – see description below Client is seeking a McAfee Product Specialist to assist in the deployment of the McAfee suite of endpoint protection products to State Agencies. The manager is seeking an individual who is a McAfee Product Specialist to assist in the deployment of the McAfee Suite of endpoint protection products to State agencies. They are deploying the McAfee endpoint protection products to 80,000 devices (desktops, laptops and servers) to the State agencies. There are McAfee engineers on site but they need a resource to assist with the deployment. The Product Specialist is the expert for a technical development or execution environment product or set of products. The primary responsibility of a Product Specialist is to ensure the availability and facilitate the productive use of a product for Application Teams or end users. The Product Specialist may own part of a product, all of one, or several products depending on the nature of the product(s) and their use. The Product Specialist requires significant to expert experience and skills in the product supported. The Product Specialist will usually also have significant experience in the operating environment(s) (e.g., HP/UX, NT, MVS, etc.) on which the product is implemented. If the product is one that was internally developed, the supporting PS should also have most of the skills of a Programmer. The Product Specialist is responsible for collaborating with Technical Architecture Specialist, System Specialists, Programmers and vendors to ensure and enhance the use of the product and effect migration to new versions of a product. Years of Relevant Experience: 9 + years Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study. Role Description: • Responsible for functioning as a Technical SME on an enterprise wide system • Responsible for implementations of products/services that involves significant oversight and providing technical expertise to the team. Required Skills: - 5 years of experience in McAfee endpoint Protection products - 5 years of experience in Host Intrusion Prevention baselining and tuning - 5 years of experience building, administration, maintenance of McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) - 5 years of experience with McAfee encryption (full disk as well as file and folder) - 4 years of experience in Security techniques; vulnerability analysis, risk analysis, mitigation plans, incident response, systems security planning - 5 years of experience with Firewalls, IDS and network based proxy devices - 5 years of experience with ePO policy creation, maintenance and compliance standards - 5 years of excellent communication skills both written and verbal - 5 years of experience with TCP/IP and network protocols - 4 year degree or experience equivalent Highly Desired Skills: - 5 years - CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP are highly desirable Please send your consultants resumes with: full-name, contact details (phone # and e-mail address), availability, current location (city and state) and hourly rate on C2C.
