Fwd: Alt .NET August Meeting & Meeetup Group
Hi, I just wanted to pop in and let you all know about our July meeting and to let you know about our new meetup group. Please become a member if you'd like to be notified of future meetings. http://www.meetup.com/Melbourne-ALT-NET/ Spicy WinRT internals for a .NET developer Windows 8 introduces a new development platform named WinRT, how does it work? How is glued to .NET? Why should I know what happen inside the Runtimeā¦ yes, all that sweet magic between the CLR and Windows. How is possible that my C# code can interact with Javascript? And C++? Can I read a C# library from unmanaged C++? What do I need to know to port my libraries to WinRT? Do I have Unit Testing? Logging? ALT .NET Final Meeting of 2011 & Breakup Dinner
Hey Guys, We'll be having our final meeting for the year this coming November 30th I've had no volunteers to present so figured we'd have another crack at a code Dojo. A code Dojo is a night where we get together and do some pair programming to solve puzzles using Test Driven Development. So whether you're new to TDD or an old hat looking for some practice please come along and join us! Also this will be our last event of the year so a bunch of us will be going out to dinner to celebrate the end of the year afterwards. http://melbourne.ozalt.net/2011/11/november-meeting-code-dojo.html
