Hi Jenny

Well MC is and probably never will be funded!! And most of the costs of
advocacy are borne by individual consumers as MC does not have enough $$$ to
reimburse .

So I would say MC could do with half a dozen if that was possible.

[ozmidwifery] BellyBelly Event - Next Saturday

Hello everyone,



I just wanted to remind everyone of the BellyBelly.com.au
Annual Event here in Melbourne
which is next Saturday! Full details can be found here: http://bellybelly.com.au/general/annual-bellybelly-event-2005.
The event has been extended until 4pm to cater with the amount of speakers and
to allow sufficient break times. Registration is 10am-10.20am, (payment needs
to be made before the day).



If anyone can assist with promoting the event with a flyer
in their centre or unit, it would be greatly appreciated as a non-profit event 
wed love a great turnout! Please let me know if you need flyers and I
will get them to you asap or forward this email to anyone you think would be
interested in attending.

 science  a manual for relationship survival/maintenance/enhancement
 during the young family years.

 how you can best work with your Ob / midwife
 to achieve it 
 PANDA (post and antenatal
 depression) Identifying ante-natal and post-natal depression and
 supporting those with depression.
 Tracey Habron
 (personal health consultant) Detox your body to prepare for conception and
 pregnancy 
 Sue Parsons
 (trained by the Babymaker) Identifying why you may be having
 difficulties conceiving, symptoms to be aware of, how the hormones work,
 tips for both males and females to enhance fertility, and tests that may
 need to be done. 
 Melanie Cane
 (Doula) Finding the right birth support person for you, what a
 professional support person can offer and their role in birth and the
 post-partum period. 
 Diane Gardner
 (HypnoBirthing Practitioner) Talking about HypnoBirthing and the new
 Australian method, Calmbirthing 


There will be a live version of Ask the Support Panel
where you can write questions on cards and they can choose to answer your
questions at the given time. The two course meal is delicious and a great time
is guaranteed at only $50 per adult!

where i can buy a book entitled When survivors give birth by Penny Simkin 
i became interested in finding this book and the subject of childhood 
sexual/physical abuse when meeting a woman that i looked after that was a 
survivor.
i would appreciate it if anyone knows where i can 
get this
