Jan, Swan hill is two hours past Echuca and 2 1/2 from Mildura. Haven't heard of anyone there who is working outside the hospital but you never know.  When is she due?

Hi!
I'm in Mildura, which is approx 2hours from Swan Hill. I work at the Mildura 
Aboriginal Health Service and offer a flexible midwifery model of care to 
anyone who walks through the door. I provide free antenatal care from within 
the client's home (or from the Health Service) and intrapartum support/care 
whenever requested by my clients, but Swan Hill is too far for me to travel, 
as it would make me unavailable to my other clients. I havent heard of any 
independent midwives in Swan Hill.
