I really wanted to ask if substance misuse in pregnancy is a problem as I would love to gain employment staying in my speciality. I am prepared to work as a midwife or a nurse, though midwifery is well and truly my first love. Hi Karen, KEMH, the teaching maternity hospital in Perth has a Chemical Dependency Clinic specifically for mothers with drug use problems to be cared for during pregnancy.
