SharePoint 2010 and IPv6

2011-11-15 Thread Duey Diep
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone here having slow loading of SharePoint at the
startup when using Windows 7 machine?

I noticed that by disabling IPv6 on Windows7 would dramatically make a big
difference.

Any suggestions on server configurations that I don't have to change all of
our windows 7 machines to have IPv6 disabled?

Cheers,

Hi Nigel,

Line breaks in plain text documents do not equate to a hard return. You will
need to hit return at the end of each line (list item, paragraph...) after
pasting the content. This is expected.

You're much better saving a Word file as HTML Filtered and copying un-styled
content from this. Paragraph breaks and lists are honoured when pasted.

Regards,

Paul

Hi guys

I've created a default OOTB publishing site, with a default OOTB stylesheet. I
run into some issues when copying lines of text from notepad (also tried
notepad++) and pasting it into a page in the aforementioned site (RichHTML
field I assume, as it's the default 'body only' page template)

Basically, if you select 5 lines of text, and want to turn them into list with
bullet points, it won't do it - it adds a single bullet point at the very top
of the pasted in content. It's almost as if it doesn't see the line breaks
as... well... line breaks. Looking at the HTML, it shows "" tags between
the lines.

I know it's probably a stupid question, with a really easy answer, but at the
moment, I'm ready to rip my hair out.

Kind Regards,
Nigel Hertz
