not really answering your question, but i customise the suite bar to link to
site collections (security trimmed) then leave global nav for navigation inside
the site collection.

Subject: Suite bar and ribbon container

Hi all,

I’m busy playing with a POC of SPS2013 in my spare time to get a feel of things
(better late than never I guess). One thing I remember from building our
SPS2010 intranet, was the amount of space wasted by the ribbon and the whole
“site actions” menu bar.

I know they only show up for people with contribute access, so general users
don’t see it (except for their name etc)

What I was wondering is if SPS2013 makes it easy to hide the suite bar and
ribbon container, making it visible either as a hover-over, or like a flyout
when clicking on something? These are just random thoughts at the moment, but
remembering how corp comms hated the wasted space, I was hoping something might
be possible these days.

Hi,

I have used this one before:

http://jqueryui.com/accordion/

pretty sure the muse one is just jquery with some javascript librarys and is
just a html list

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a quick and easy way to create accordion menu's in a
content editor? I'm thinking of the expand / collapse type menu they have on
technet. The javascript and jquery I've tried so far has been very "jittery"
when moving.

One thing I found that works brilliantly is the accordion menu in Adobe Muse,
but I have no idea if it's possible to incorporate that into SharePoint at all?
