RE: Search usage reports

2011-10-05 Thread Paul Noone
MOSS 2007? This happened to us a couple of times. Resetting crawled content,
search service stopping, setting changes in SSP, new SSP can all affect this.
In our case, the Search Query Logging settings were somehow disabled. Not by me.

Paul

Subject: Search usage reports

Hi all

Back in January, I configured usage reporting etc across our farm. Part of the
setup included configuring the search usage reports. All of this was working
fine, until recently (it was definitely working at the end of August, as a
couple of presentations used some of the data)

Somewhere during the course of September, all the info within the 'Search
Queries' and 'Search Results' reports has disappeared. I've checked all
settings and configurations, and they all appear to be correct. The above 2
reports insist on saying that 'No data is available for this report'. The only
subset of the reports that shows info is the 'Queries over the past 12 months'
- which seems to stop in May. Does anyone have some insight into this?

Kind Regards,
Nigel Hertz
