Solved, it was a wrong configuration of corosync, now at version 2.x. I
missed the quorum section.

Hi,
has anyone experienced pacemaker on a OpenSuSE distribution 13.1 release ?
I'm receiving a lot of error with both pacemaker and corosync... A node

Where could be the problem ?
The command crm configure show give me an empty output...

Your ethmonitor RA missed its 50-second timeout on the probe (that is,
the initial monitor operation). You should be seeing "Monitoring of
if_eth0 failed, X retries left" warnings in your logs. Grepping your
syslog for "ethmonitor" will probably turn up some useful results.

IIRC you were to try the libvirt stonith plugin. Is that the
same thing you're trying to solve here? How did libvirt fare?

Thanks,

I could not run libvirt stonith plugin with virtual machine on xenserver.
I used the one found here
http://code.google.com/p/fence-xenserver/wiki/Installation, which isn't
the plugin itself but only tools to reboot or power off VM. I wrote a
simple shell script as stonith plugin, which in turn calls the library
passing it parameter as required. My script interprets the commands of
cluster and then call the library to fence VM. It works well.

[Pacemaker] Stonith / Fencing

2011-09-28 Thread Fiorenza Meini

Hi there,
I'm working on stonith on my test cluster. It has, to me, a strange
behaviour: when the condition to fence the other node happens, is it
normal that both primary/secondary node fences the other one? I thought
that the primary should fence the secondary, as it is the master at drbd
level...but really the behaviour is different: sometimes is the master
to kill the secondary, and sometimes is the secondary to kill the
mastereven if I specified in the configuration, that the stonith
primitive has to run only on the master node.

It was not a Resource Agent, but a service problem: even with ocf ra,
dovecot version 2 was not started independently. Probably there is
something on the service I should debug..

I installed dovecot 1.2 and it is managed perfectly by the cluster.
