Ah, these are actually in glib2-devel

$ rpm -qf /usr/lib/pkgconfig/gio-2.0.pc /usr/lib/pkgconfig/gio-unix-2.0.pc
glib2-devel-2.28.4-1.fc15.i686
glib2-devel-2.28.4-1.fc15.i686

So unless there is another reason, you don't need "BR: ruby-gio2-devel".

rpmlint really needs to be updated -- Group and %defattr are both deprecated
(as you can see I added a comment marking that it's only there to appease
rpmlint). But yes, adding those does not hurt.

RPMlint is silent on F-15. what version do you have?

Do note that FPC has accepted two md5 variants as copylibs. Of course, most
packages that bundle them haven't been discovered and nobody's done a full
audit, but bundling per-se isn't really a blocker.

The defaultFedoraPath.patch

This patch is modelled on the Debian one. From what I can see the Debian one
doesn't actually work and has a "memory leak" i.e. the path repeatedly gets
concatenated many times.

This patch has no "memory leak" but doesn't actually work too well. The Debian
stuff works because all their jars and .so files are in a single
Classpath/LD_LIBRARY_PATH

than the need I have to justify it.

Some extra comments in case someone else chooses to tackle it.

The md5.[ch] files look to be a bundled

http://sourceforge.net/projects/libmd5-rfc/files/libmd5-rfc/2002-04-13/

moreover md5 looks to be already include in cups as well though I've
not checked if it is used.

Yes, that's not a problem and a good compromise. I'll add the file before

Description:
As a dynamic language, Perl doesn't require you to define subroutines until
run-time. Although this is a powerful feature, it can also be a major
source of bugs. For example, you might mistype the name of a subroutine, or
call a subroutine from another module without including that module or
importing that subroutine. And unless you have very good test coverage, you
might not know about these bugs until you have already launched your code.

I already asked upstream to replace the BSD license text with the ASL 2.0 one:
http://code.google.com/p/snappy/issues/detail?id=20&can=1

It's a known issue that has already been fixed in the SVN repo. This is also
true for the missing/incomplete copyright info in the source files.
Since the library is definitely licensed under ASL 2.0, I'd rather omit COPYING
for now and add it as soon as a new release of snappy is available.

[Bug 690539] New: Review Request: perl-File-PathList - Find a file within a set of paths (like @INC or Java classpaths)

Summary: Review Request: perl-File-PathList - Find a file within a set of paths

Summary: Review Request: perl-File-PathList - Find a file
within a set of paths (like @INC or Java classpaths)
   Product: Fedora
   Version: rawhide
  Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
  Severity: medium
  Priority: medium
 Component: Package Review
AssignedTo: nob...@fedoraproject.org
ReportedBy: ppi...@redhat.com
 QAContact: extras...@fedoraproject.org
CC: nott...@redhat.com, fedora-package-rev...@redhat.com
   Estimated Hours: 0.0
Classification: Fedora
  Story Points: ---

Spec URL:
http://ppisar.fedorapeople.org/perl-File-PathList/perl-File-PathList.spec
SRPM URL:
http://ppisar.fedorapeople.org/perl-File-PathList/perl-File-PathList-1.04-1.fc16.src.rpm
Description:
Many systems that map generic relative paths to absolute paths do so with a
set of base paths. For example, perl itself when loading classes first turn
a "Class::Name" into a path like "Class/Name.pm", and then looks through each
element of @INC to find the actual file. To aid in portability, all relative
paths are provided as UNIX-style relative paths, and converted to the
localized version in the process of looking up the path.

Description:
Snappy is a compression/decompression library. It does not aim for maximum

aims for very high speeds and reasonable compression. For instance, compared to
the fastest mode of zlib, Snappy is an order of magnitude faster for most
inputs, but the resulting compressed files are anywhere from 20% to 100%

Oh, I see. However I don't know how to fix it now. Basically I'm having 2
repositories there. One is master which is libvirt-php - upstream. Second is
for Fedora and it's called php-libvirt. I don't know what's wrong however the
issue there is that it's trying to access the libvirt-php instead of
php-libvirt. I don't know whether I can override it somehow to try to clone
php-libvirt instead of libvirt-php :(

I have just switched the branch to f14 branch using `fedpkg switch-branch f14`
and then I put in some commits I wanted to, did the `fedpkg push` and tried
`fedpkg build` which is failing and therefore I can't do the `fedpkg update` (I
didn't even try since build is failing).

Any idea what can I do now ?

Thanks,
Michal
