Fixed to not call configure twice.

http://sundaram.fedorapeople.org/packages/gnome-shell-extensions.spec
http://sundaram.fedorapeople.org/packages/gnome-shell-extensions-3.0.0-1.6d56cfgit.fc15.src.rpm

We can incrementally enable extensions once we can get them working. That's
why I introduced sub packages. Users have the flexibility to pick and choose
what they want as well.

--- Comment #7 from Mohamed El Morabity 2011-04-07
19:14:36 EDT ---
./autogen.sh calls gnome-autogen.sh, which launches the ./configure script
generated before. To avoid ./configure being run twice (once from ./autogen.sh,
once by %configure), you can set NOCONFIGURE to 1: it will prevent
gnome-autogen.sh from launching ./configure:

%build
# since we build from a git checkout
NOCONFIGURE=1 ./autogen.sh  --enable-extensions="alternate-tab
alternative-status-menu dock windowsNavigator"
%configure
make %{?_smp_mflags}

Using subpackages for each extension is a great idea. Once the little issue
above fixed, I will approve this package :)

(In reply to comment #0)
> I have enabled only some extensions because the rest don't work for me.
Same issues here, especially with the user theme extension. I'm still trying to
understand why ^^.

   Summary: postfix26 - Postfix Mail Transport Agent
   Product: Fedora
   Version: rawhide

 QAContact: extras...@fedoraproject.org
CC: nott...@redhat.com, fedora-package-rev...@redhat.com
   Estimated Hours: 0.0

  Story Points: ---

Spec URL: http://labs.linuxnetz.de/bugzilla/postfix26.spec
SRPM URL: http://labs.linuxnetz.de/bugzilla/postfix26-2.6.6-1.src.rpm
Description:
Postfix is a Mail Transport Agent (MTA), supporting LDAP, SMTP AUTH (SASL),
TLS

RHEL 5 is only shipping the very old postfix-2.3.3. So this package is
postfix-2.6.6-2.1.el6_0 from RHEL 6. Even Postfix 2.6 is not the newest
one, but using a RHEL 6 package hopefully lowers maintainance overhead,
because RHEL 6 has its end-of-lifetime after RHEL 5.

--- Comment #5 from Marek Goldmann  2011-04-07 18:05:44
EDT ---
Updated files:

Spec URL: http://goldmann.fedorapeople.org/package_review/rubygem-kwalify.spec
SRPM URL:
http://goldmann.fedorapeople.org/package_review/rubygem-kwalify-0.7.2-2.fc14.src.rpm

Oxana, it looks like the ruby_sitelib line is not required for rubygems (my
previous rubygems submitted and accepted for Fedora didn't have this line).
It's only required for pure Ruby applications.

Vit, I cleaned the spec file.

Thank you!

Package is approved.

There are two warnings below the first is a typo in the description and the
second is a suggestion, you could use %{name} in the source URL. You are free
to ignore the later if you wish, it is purely stylistic and after all you are
the upstream author. :-)

Thanks..

Made the changes:

http://dcr226.fedorapeople.org/SPECS/wbfs-manager.spec
http://dcr226.fedorapeople.org/SRPMS/wbfs-manager-0.1.12-1.fc14.src.rpm

And I've added the .desktop file. Albeit without an icon currently. But I'll
get that added once the artwork is done. I'm under the impression that the
actual icon isn't required.

debuginfo has been a pita, and regardless of stopping any stripping of the
binary, the result is the same. I'm hoping you will agree that stopping it from
creating a debuginfo was the correct path in the end.

I got a response, here's my email and his response:

Not patching writing from scratch. IMHO it's better to have control over
installation from the spec file rather than a badly written make install that
puts everything in the wrong places. If you're interested in scons and
libraries have a look at ffado that's the only library I know of that uses
scons to build most use autotools.
When I finally have time to switch from scons to cmake, I've already patched
SConstruct and the SConscripts heavily, I can get the library versioning and
assembly correct. Scons doesn't cater for libs, you have to write everything
yourself, whereas cmake does. Collada has SConstruct and CMakeLists.txt, when I
originally built it there was only scons and of course vcproj2cmake.rb for
visual studio.
---

Does this make sense? It's a little over my head.

Yes, I am still working on it. The inactivity is due mainly to the fact that
the team is growing and I'm spending most of my time either getting them up to
speed or changing fundamental stuff in preparation for future development. It
hasn't made much sense to pursue packaging stuff which is sure to change e.g.
as we change the basic translator structure or add management components. If
you're interested in helping with it, that's great! Let's find each other on
IRC or something and I can describe where things are going in the F16
timeframe.

I planned package also the GS extensions, but you were faster :).
Shouldn't the version be 3.0.0, since the commit you use is based on the 3.0.0

 Component: Package Review
AssignedTo: nob...@fedoraproject.org

   Estimated Hours: 0.0

Spec URL: http://sundaram.fedorapeople.org/packages/gnome-shell-extensions.spec
SRPM URL:
http://sundaram.fedorapeople.org/packages/gnome-shell-extensions-0.0-0.6d56cfgit.fc15.src.rpm
Description:

GNOME Shell Extensions is a collection of extensions providing
additional and optional functionality to GNOME Shell.

I have enabled only some extensions because the rest don't work for me. Also I
intend to split it into multiple sub packages so that users can install any one
extension they want individually. GNOME Shell extensions don't currently work
unless you add that one liner from bug #694471 which should be fixed shortly.
This is work in progress but early feedback is welcome.

--- Comment #2 from Michel Alexandre Salim 2011-04-07

The missing group and attributes are due to those being deprecated in RPM >=
4.9
(and thus rpmdev-newspec does not provide those fields on F-15+). Will re-add
because we do want to make this available on F-14 and probably even EPEL.
Thanks!

* rpmlint:

python-testtools.noarch: W: non-standard-group Unspecified
python-testtools.src: W: non-standard-group Unspecified
python-testtools.src:35: E: files-attr-not-set
python-testtools.src:36: E: files-attr-not-set

These are all from the same source: we need a %defattr(-, root, root, -) line
in %files.

* Name follows Guidelines
* License is good and included
* Spec is legible
* Source matches upstream
* Package builds in koji
* No locale files
* No bundled system libraries
* Not relocatable
* All files and directories are owned
* Macros used consistently
* Code not content
* No large doc
* documentation doesn't affect runtime
* Not a dynamic library
* Not a GUI app

Nit:
It's better to BuildRequires: python2-devel rather than python-devel

As long as you add the %defattr before importing, this is APPROVED.

If libzeitgeist is pushed into stable, you can build synapse
- Note that on rawhide you can build synapse now. Please retry.

If you don't want to wait until libzeitgeist is pushed into stable
before building synapse, please submit override tag request on
