--- Comment #23 from Reiner Rottmann rei...@rottmann.it ---
I've tested a beta release in November that made files with problematic
licenses an optional download.

Meanwhile a new stable version has been released and I recreated the RPM:

about that setup.py, that should be used for module distribution, so
versions of modules and script/module don't have to be same (systeminfo.py
isn't included in module rpm), or?

I took a closer look at the documentation for distutils. It looks like you need
to add scripts[...] and data_files[...] statements to setup.py to grab
systeminfo.py and settings/*, respectively. That way setup.py does all of the
heavy lifting.

For more information:
* http://docs.python.org/2/distutils/setupscript.html#installing-scripts
*
http://docs.python.org/2/distutils/setupscript.html#installing-additional-files

Make sense?

Thank you for your previous review. Is adding a license header to all source

Well, it's not strictly a blocker, but a file's license header is the ultimate
authority of the license of that file. If it doesn't have one As the
upstream author you should get in the habit of properly licensing your files.

So, some general comments here before I look at reviewing. ;)

* 1.3 isn't actually out yet. I'd suggest packaging 1.2 until it is... if
there's some compelling reason to do a 1.3 prerelease, you will need to change
the release to handle a prerelease version. See:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:NamingGuidelines#Pre-Release_packages

* I'm not sure the Requires you have are needed. Does it really need
xfce4-session and xfdesktop?

* You may want to include some %doc files... ChangeLog, COPYING, and various
others

--- Comment #2 from Mukundan Ragavan nonamed...@gmail.com ---
Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your comments.

 * 1.3 isn't actually out yet. I'd suggest packaging 1.2 until it is... if
there's some compelling reason to do a 1.3 prerelease, you will need to
change the release to handle a prerelease version. See:
 https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:NamingGuidelines#Pre-
 Release_packages

Corrected this. I have used 0.1.2 correctly this time.

 * I'm not sure the Requires you have are needed. Does it really need
 xfce4-session and xfdesktop?

I had a strange logic for adding this Requires (this being a package to be used
with Xfce). :) Removed the Requires.

 * You may want to include some %doc files... ChangeLog, COPYING, and various
 others

I have added %doc files. I have also included TODO. I cannot find any
regulations about that - is it fine to include TODO?

* Multi-lib support for the Python module.

So, the package is ready again for (hopefully the end of) the review.

--- Comment #9 from hannes johannes.l...@googlemail.com ---
Well, I am not really interested any more. I released ownership of freemind, so
there's no need to get the deps in.
I just don't have enough time to maintain java packages.
So if anyone wants to take it, feel free.
Johannes
