[Bug 1419226] New: Review Request: prelude-correlator

2017-02-03 Thread bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1419226

Bug ID: 1419226
   Summary: Review Request: prelude-correlator
   Product: Fedora
   Version: rawhide
 Component: Package Review
  Assignee: nob...@fedoraproject.org
  Reporter: thomas.andre...@gmail.com
QA Contact: extras...@fedoraproject.org
CC: package-review@lists.fedoraproject.org

This is the continuation of #1386938 . This ticket is for prelude-correlator,
the correlator of events received by Prelude.

Description in spec :
Prelude-Correlator allows conducting multi-stream correlations
thanks to a powerful programming language for writing correlation
rules. With any type of alert able to be correlated, event
analysis becomes simpler, quicker and more incisive. This
correlation alert then appears within the Prewikka interface
and indicates the potential target information via the set of
correlation rules.

SPEC : https://fedorapeople.org/~totol/prelude-correlator.spec
SRPM : https://fedorapeople.org/~totol/prelude-correlator-3.1.0-1.fc26.src.rpm
Build : https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=17579929

Thanks for the review

Regards

Thomas

Jan Chaloupka  changed:

--- Comment #5 from Jan Chaloupka  ---
Just two nits:
1) change the with_macros into header to:

# If any of the following macros should be set otherwise,
# you can wrap any of them with the following conditions:
# - %%if 0%%{centos} == 7
# - %%if 0%%{?rhel} == 7
# - %%if 0%%{?fedora} == 23
# Or just test for particular distribution:
# - %%if 0%%{centos}
# - %%if 0%%{?rhel}
# - %%if 0%%{?fedora}
#
# Be aware, on centos, both %%rhel and %%centos are set. If you want to test
# rhel specific macros, you can use %%if 0%%{?rhel} && 0%%{?centos} == 0
condition.
# (Don't forget to replace double percentage symbol with single one in order to
apply a condition)

# Generate devel rpm
%global with_devel 1
# Build project from bundled dependencies
%global with_bundled 0
# Build with debug info rpm
%global with_debug 1
# Run tests in check section
%global with_check 1
# Generate unit-test rpm
%global with_unit_test 0

2) exclude ppc64 arch or patch the source code so gotun can be built on it

None of the nits are blocker for the review.
The spec file conforms to the current golang packaging draft.

[Bug 1411467] Review Request: bitlbee-steam - Steam protocol plugin for BitlBee

2017-02-03 Thread bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1411467

--- Comment #4 from Garrett Holmstrom  ---
In reply to Neal Gompa from comment #3)
> Some notes:
>
> > rm $RPM_BUILD_ROOT/%{_libdir}/bitlbee/steam.la
>
> Please use %{buildroot} instead of "$RPM_BUILD_ROOT"

The spec file wasn't up to date with current packaging guidelines anyway, so I
replaced the calls to make with %make_build and %make_install. The file is now
consistent.

> > %{!?_licensedir: %global license %%doc}
>
> This should be "%{!?_licensedir: %global license %doc}"

Removed; it isn't necessary any more.

> Additional notes:
>
> This package provides "steam.so()(64bit)" which is unhelpfully generic.
> Please add a Provides filter rule to filter out auto-generated Provides from
> libraries installed into "%{_libdir}/bitlbee". More information can be found
> at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:AutoProvidesAndRequiresFiltering

Fixed.  Good catch!

Hi Michal,

As stated in bug 1333531, we will work a solution as per your suggestion (for
and install script) into an upcoming release. Thank you for your help, and
again, apologies for the delay in the response.

Regarding systemd, I will consult with our subject matter experts to make your
approach compliant with the Fedora guidelines. Is there something specific here
you wish to target our attention to?

Thanks,
Scott

Done, but ... shall I file a bug against perl-generators?

> License - most of the files are under "GPL+ or Artistic". However,

> FIX: Please add license 'Public Domain'
No, I not going to do this.

This perl-dist is clearly licenced "Perl" (== GPL+ or Artistic), using the
"Perl" license as an umbrella to files under other compatible licenses (c.f.
README). The fact it also contains files licensed PD is irrelevant.

[Bug 1418310] Review Request: perl-SOAP-WSDL - Perl module for SOAP with WSDL support

2017-02-03 Thread bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1418310

--- Comment #5 from Andrew Bauer  ---
From the Perl test output, looks like we can add perl(Test::Pod) to enable an
additional test:

t/098_pod.t ... skipped: Test::Pod 1.00
required for testing POD

The following error is fatal:

t/SOAP/WSDL/Transport/HTTP.t(Wstat: 65280 Tests: 4
Failed: 0)
  Non-zero exit status: 255
  Parse errors: Bad plan. You planned 8 tests but ran 4.
Files=124, Tests=1096, 19 wallclock secs ( 0.33 usr  0.13 sys + 17.37 cusr
1.49 csys = 19.32 CPU)
Result: FAIL

I can help troubleshoot this, and will post more information when I have a
chance to look at this further. I'm currently at my $dayjob so it may not be
until this weekend.

I have not yet looked to see exactly what kind of http test are being
performed, but if it is going out on the Internet to run the check then
naturally the solution here would be to disable this particular test.

Also, I don't recall running into this issue when I built this package for
zmrepo.zonemidner.com so I'll check what I did over there.

Full build logs are here:
