Sorry, yeah well it seems like it only has the live dvd which doesn't have.
the actual without the live one. I'm sure it'll come out when 20.04.1 comes
out. my best guess.

[packer] Re: if then statement inside of inline shell?

2019-08-05 Thread Benjamin Lu
I don't think you can, the best way to use scripts on its own file and you
can do if statements.

"scripts": [
"scripts/setup.sh",
"scripts/update.sh",
"scripts/packages.sh"
],

[packer] Re: Preseed.cfg file for ubuntu18.04

2019-07-24 Thread Benjamin Lu
in the provisioner, you can check out the chef.github.io/bento's preseed

but you need

"execute_command": "echo 'vagrant' | {{.Vars}} sudo -S -E sh -eux
'{{.Path}}'",

in the provisioners part so that it can run as root, because provisioners
are run in root.

i have tested 1.4.2, 1.41 1.4.0 is all the same, and yes I have launched
the GUI and verify the GUI works manually, but the boot_command doesn't do
anything.

I downgraded to 1.3.5 just to see if it helps or not. I tried everything i
can think of.

I have MacOS 10.14.5 Mojave, and the Parallels is 14 ( Pro )
