[PacketFence-users] Nagios + PF Monitoring

2016-04-30 Thread Leja, Maciej
Hey everyone,

Curious if anyone is doing any specific type of monitoring besides basic
up/down + disk/cpu/memory + web type monitoring with their deployment?

We don’t have it inline – just a captive portal – wondering if anyone is doing
anything interesting we might be able to steal that could help :)

Thanks,
~Maciej

[PacketFence-users] pf 6 questions

2016-04-30 Thread Will Halsall
Hi Folks,

After failing to get pf 5.7 ZEN to upgrade I have done a clean install of PF6
ZEN and have the following question:

Can you still use the pf5 type captive portal? The pf6 works fine but I would
have to plan the introduction of pf6 style captive portal with management.

Just an observation:
I had problems entering the fingerbank API key and finally had to edit the
fingerbank config file to get this to work.

Thank you for all your work providing this solution and your ongoing support

[PacketFence-users] uninitialized value in Connection.pm

2016-04-30 Thread forums

I installed 6.0 this week and now 6.0.1. Both are giving me the
following message:

Apr 30 09:21:10 httpd.aaa(10405) WARN: [mac:a8:5b:78:58:6e:88] Use of
uninitialized value $nas_port_type in pattern match (m//) at
/usr/local/pf/lib/pf/Connection.pm line 118.

I also have noticed that the online/offline status is not updating.

I looked at Connections.pm and do not see it initialized at the top -
but it looks like several changes were made to this file from 5.7.0
