Hm, xine-lib 1.1.7 doesn't compile on 10.0 without disabling. I must say
I havn't tested again after 1.1.8 was released. I'll retry it again
with 1.1.8. When it works, I'll update the packages.

I gues you have installed a sun-java-package and not the SuSE one.

you have no standard-java installation for SuSE. As my scripts use
jpackage-features to set classpath and java environment variables they can be
find only if the correct alternatives are set for java.

Quentin, thanks for the update to gtkpod and libgpod. I see it is only
for opensuse10.2 or are you gonna rpm others (like 10.1)? When i try to
install libgpod from zmd, it asks me to install libgpod 0.3. When i try

to do with be for opensuse 10.2 when i am using SLED SP1. Are you going
to do other versions of suse?

I have some people saying "stick to the packman subject" here and some that
tell me something else.

I have no idea why i am using fbdev/fbdev2. All i did was install the rpm
from packman and right-click the video file and say "open with mplayer". I
don't know what vo it uses or why (and up until the other day, i did not
know what a vo was). I do, however, have it working now.

You are using fbdev/fbdev2 as video output and it does not work. Why are
you using fbdev?

[packman] [PM] audacity 1.3.3 (openSUSE 10.2/x86_64)

2007-09-07 Diskussionsfäden Bob Gifford
Detlef -

I'm running Suse 10 SP1, and tried to install Audacity from a
links2linux mirror. The Yast software manager tells me it's missing
libwx_gtk2u_core-2.6.so.0.

It looks like that package is supposed to come from wxwidgets. I have
wxwidgets version 2.8, not 2.6, and it doesn't include a
libwx_gtk2u_core-2.8 package.

Can you help?

Thanks much!

When i run gmplayer as root, it plays (although the video can
