[Paraview] openGL ERROR with chart views
Hi, Using paraview 3.8.0 on windows 32 bits, raise me the following error when opening a new chart window : ERROR: In ..\..\..\src\VTK\Rendering\vtkOpenGLExtensionManager.cxx, line 358 vtkOpenGLExtensionManager (241D2150): Extension GL_VERSION_1_5 could not be loaded. My graphic card is ATI radeon xpress 1150 series This makes the paraview gui slower when interacting with the chart (even with the error, the chart is visible anyway). Is there any solution to avoid this error. Re: [Paraview] xdmf.py install is scanning my /usr recursively and try to bytecompile anything in .py
Hi Francois, I am a little bit confused by your email. Just to be clear, is this the change you are proposing? SET( XdmfGzipSource gzstream @@ -504,7 +504,7 @@ IF(XDMF_WRAP_PYTHON) # Compile Byte Code INSTALL(CODE EXECUTE_PROCESS(COMMAND ${PYTHON_EXECUTABLE} ${Xdmf_SOURCE_DIR}/CMake/CompileXdmfByteCode.py -${CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX}/${XDMF_WRAP_PYTHON_INSTALL_PY_DIR})) +${XDMF_WRAP_PYTHON_INSTALL_DIR})) ENDIF(XDMF_WRAP_PYTHON) Let me know and I will gladly commit the fix. Hi Dave, Sorry for the delay. I now believe there may be a better fix respecting DESTDIR as the python modules of vtk don't exhibit this problem. I have to look it up a little bit further. [Paraview] Building PV with Visual Studio 2003
I have been trying for two weeks to build 3.8.0 using Visual Studio 7 2003. Does anyone know the cmake configurations to get it to build? Re: [Paraview] Problem with Color Gradients in 'Save Screenshot'
Phil/Jereme, FYI, this has now been fixed in master and will make it into 3.8.1 release. On my screen, I have a smooth colour gradient from the top of the window to the bottom, but the screenshot has two tiles of the gradient (see attachment). This only occurs when I turn off the Save only Selected View to have multiple windows in my screenshot. Does anyone know why this is happening? Paraview 3.8.0 on Fedora 12. [Paraview] core dump from pvserver on Fedora linux with nvidia 195.36.24
Hello, We are seeing pvserver crash when it tries to access nvidia hardware. I've see this on both Fedora 12 and 13 with nvidia driver 195.36.24 installed from rpmfusion. Running with --use-offscreen-rendering works. The crash happens after a window named Visualiztion Toolkit - OpenGL comes up on the pvserver system. More technical details are in this bug report: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=606473 Any suggestions would be welcomed!
