Re: [Paraview] animations
For both cases you can use the Temporal Shift Scale filter, showing the original data in one view and the temporal shift scale filter in another. Once you have added the temporal shift scale filter, right click on the filter in the pipeline browser and check "Ignore Time", then right click on the data source and uncheck "Ignore Time". When "Ignore Time" is check, the timesteps produced by that filter and not considered by the application for deciding the range/timesteps for the default animaiton. Re: [Paraview] animations
Hi Utkarsh and Stephane, In another setting, I have two time series data sets. The time sequences are totally independent with each other. Each time sequence can have irregular spacing as well (due to the fact of relativistic time-space model). How can I view both data sets in the same window/view with consistent time stamp for both of them. The first frame of one data set appears in the middle of the other data sequence. I currently use temporal interpolater with the delta time interval the value of the common denominator of both data set time sequences. However, both data sets appears from the very beginning. Thanks for your help. Re: [Paraview] animations
Unless I misunderstand your first question, you should be able to make the time series of the two data sets consistent using the temporal shift scale filter. There is no direct way to get a data set to not load during a certain time, but you can fake it by toggling the visibility. Open the Animation View (View -> Animation View) and add a track for your the visibility of your data. Make the visibility zero when the data is invalid, one otherwise. -Ken On 4/14/10 9:51 AM, "Dr. X" wrote: Hi Utkarsh and Stephane, In another setting, I have two time series data sets. Re: [Paraview] Animations: inserting text-only frames
Giordano, If you export the animation from Paraview, Windows Movie Maker, which is free to all Windoze users, will allow you to insert titles anywhere in the video. I'm sure there are similar utilities for Mac and Linux, but I'm not familiar with them. Might be easier to do it externally rather than try to make paraview do it.
